Devan Smith-Brown

Environmental Scientist

Devan began her journey with Earth Data in early 2018, shortly after graduating from Roanoke College with a degree in Environmental Studies. During her time at Roanoke, she attended the Middlebury School of the Environment, a summer program in Vermont, and studied abroad in Perugia, Italy. Devan collects and manages water quality/water level data for several groundwater contamination projects. She is ASTM certified and conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Devan is also OSHA HAZWOPER certified.

She enjoys crafting and running races during the weekend. Devan is an avid traveler and loves learning new things. She is from Arlington, Virginia and currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her talkative tuxedo cat.
