Jackson Speary
Geologist
Jackson joined the Earth Data team in 2024. He holds a BS in Geology from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. While attending college, Jackson was involved in projects using ArcGIS to compile spatial data on microplastic and metal contamination and mapping tectonic stress in the Appalachian mountain range. He has also designed a multi-discipline nature education program curriculum and taught teens classes on forestry, soils, and wildlife.
He was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in 2020, is a member of the Chi Psi Fraternity, is the founder and president of the NSA Environment Club, and a Food Bank Volunteer. At the office, in the field, and in his free time, he is a welcome addition to the professionals at Earth Data.
