James Janis

GIS Analyst

James joined Earth Data in 2015 and plays a role in Earth Data UTP and WRDB dataset to the AGC. Mr. Janis has extensively studied and gained significant knowledge of the UTP Field Guide and WRDB Extraction Guide. He possesses specialized competence in raster analysis, cartography, and spatial interpolation. James has experience with ArcMap 10; ArcCatalog; ArcToolbox; Spatial Analyst; 3D Analyst, Data Reviewer; and Model Builder. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Geography/Geospatial Analysis from Salisbury University.

He also has experience captaining boats for TowBoatUS in Maryland and Florida and captaining guide boats in Chincoteague, Virginia.
