Mark Williams

President

Mark Williams is president and owner of Earth Data Incorporated. He is a proud Razorback, graduating from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a BS in engineering. A self-professed “engineer by training and well driller by the grace of God”, Mark has been involved in the water supply industry since 1982.

Mark joined Earth Data in January 2000 as a senior groundwater consultant after working for the nation’s largest water supply contracting company for over 17 years. In that capacity he worked throughout the southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states and developed extensive knowledge and experience with all types of water well drilling techniques and pumps.

Mark purchased Earth Data from company founder and former owner Tucker Moorshead in January 2014. Since then he has worked to enhance Earth Data’s reputation as a quality water resources and environmental consulting company. He has overseen the company’s emergence as a nationally recognized GIS/geospatial firm in the federal government contracting space.

When he’s not working Mark enjoys cycling, running (he has completed 3 marathons), cooking, and spending time with his family.
