Max Winn

GIS ANALYST

Max joined Earth Data in January of 2021. He is originally from Northern Virginia but now lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University and earned his professional master’s degree in GIS and Remote Sensing from the University of Pittsburgh.

His lifelong interest in maps intersected with GIS technology while at James Madison University. After graduation, he took a position as a GIS specialist in Northern Virginia, eventually moving to Pennsylvania to pursue other GIS opportunities and attend the University of Pittsburgh.

Max enjoys sports, and though he lives in Pittsburgh, he continues to follow the Maryland and DC teams he grew up watching.
