Our Passion Encouraged
Earth Data is ending the year by being awarded the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce’s Pinnacle Business Award for Environmental Stewardship. The honor was presented to Earth Data Incorporated’s president, Mark Williams, on behalf of the chamber of commerce and in acknowledgment of the Earth Data staff’s positive environmental impact.
The Environmental Stewardship Award is presented to the organization that demonstrated outstanding environmental awareness throughout the year. This includes employee involvement in environmental activities, using recycled products in daily operations, and other environmental-friendly practices.
The Maryland General Assembly, a U.S. Senator, and Maryland State Senator sent special recognition of the award as well. Senator Ben Cardin presented Earth Data a certificate of special recognition. An official citation from the Maryland General Assembly and delegates Steven J. Arentz, Jefferson L. Ghrist, and Jay A. Jacobs was sent, as was an official citation from the Maryland General Assembly and Maryland State Senator Stephen S. Hershey, Jr.
The special recognition is humbling and encourages our continued environmental stewardship efforts. The Earth Data staff’s passion for the environment and the community shows each day. We are people who work hard and want to help, not only our clients but our community. We are thankful for the opportunity.
